Well we are less then a week away from Christmas, and I'm still getting calls from customers wanting to bring deer in. I have stopped taking new customers at this time due to no freezer space available. We even bought a new one right before Wisconsin's gun season. Typically I stop taking in deer when I hit 75 and I'm over 90 at this time. This is a good thing, but seems weird turning work away. Most are keeping their deer frozen and calling back in February, hoping some freezer room has opened up. It's hard to believe the deer kill in Wisconsin was down with all the work I have gotten. Well that's all for now. Enjoy your holiday season.

Well the traditional 9 day gun deer season has now ended and muzzle loader has started. Hopefully you had a successful season. It's believed that a successful season would be harvesting a deer, but more are saying a successful season is a safe one and having a good time with friends and family.
I'm swamped here are Stone Wall Taxidermy. My early season bow numbers were up over 50% and the gun deer season count is still rising. This looks like a record season for me. We've been working from 8 am to 8 pm since the gun season started. Hopefully that will slow down and we can get back to normal hours again.
If you got a deer, congratulations and if not and you are continuing to hunt, like my husband, then good luck and continue to have a safe season.
