Well it looks like we may get a taste of fall here in Shwano County this week. We can use the rain, but you can turn off the high winds. Bear hunters have had some luck so far this season. My husband has been trying to get his father a bear the past two weeks with just some bad luck. He hit a +200# bear Wednesday morning that they could not find and that afternoon they missed a 500# bear. They haven't seen on since. They have had a good time hunting and that should be what it is about. As for work, I have had a couple of deer and bears come in and have ahad a few items picked up. So good luck to all the hunters (deer, bear, and birds).

Well, it's opening weekend for deer bow season here in Wisconsin. It's a little warm, but the mornings have been cool. Haven't heard of any big deer taken yet, so if your out there good luck. The bear season started on the 9th. My father-in-law starts the 16th since the dog hunters get first shot this year. We have gotten a few pictures of bigger bear, hopefully they are around on Wednesday.
I continue to work on deer, bear, and fish. It seems when I get caught up more comes in. That is a good thing for me. Good luck to all hunters and remember to get your game cooled down after the harvest.
