Good Morning everyone.
It's aa chilly morning here in central Wisconsin, but I' glad I'm here and not in southeastern part of the state were they a predicting a winter storm. This week I finally finished fleshing all the coyotes that were brought in and worked on painting some fish and deer. After they deer have dried, they will be scored and the clients called to have them picked up. I did have a bear dropped off this week and it was nice since the hide was already tanned.
Have a good weekend. Remember turkey season is three weeks away.

Well the weather sure is not delightful here in central Wisconsin. The weather sure makes it easier to work inside. Had a few mounts picked up today and had a fish (perch) come in for mounting. This weekend was more work on the new house and moving the rest of our studd out of the old. So hopefully everyone is thinking spring. Have a nice afternoon.

If you have any questions about taxidermy feel free to leave a comment.

Good afternoon everyone,
I'm continuing to work on fox and coyotes that have been brought in the past 2 weeks. Some are going to be made into rugs, a couple of full body mounts, and a shoulder mount. This week I have been trying to catch up with my taxidermy work. With the weather being so nice in central Wisconsin its been hard to stay in and work and not go out and enjoy the day.

What a beautiful weekend so far. I have taken some time off of taxidermy work this weekend so we can finish work on our new house.
Remember, if you are looking for taxidermy work to be done, Stone Wall Taxidermy, in Wittenberg, is right off STH 29, 60 miles west of Green Bay, 26 miles east of the Wausau/Rothschild/Weston area, 27 miles south of Antigo, and 38 mile north of New London.
Have a great day.

Good afternoon.
Today more work came in as a deer head came in for a european mount. Work was getting the coyotes brought in over the weekend skinned out. Stone Wall Taxidermy is located in Shawano County, in central Wisconsin. Season coming up is turkey season.

So is everyone enjoying the snow? Not getting as much as they thought in central Wisconsin.
It was a busy weekend at Stone Wall Taxidermy. Had 3 coyotes come in, two for rugs and one full body mount. Also had a red fox and a fish come in for mounting. The clients were from the Birnamwood, Shawano, and Wausau areas.

Hi again.
The coyote hunters are out in force this time of the year. Got one in yesterday for tanning and another should be coming in later, a black one for a full body mount. Taxidermy this time of year is always busy. As I write I'm giving directions for another client to bring in a fish for mounting.

Good evening everyone.
Today is March 3, 2009.
I have been working on European mounts, fleshing a bear, and fish this week.
Advice this week.
If you catch a fish you would like mounted, the best thing to do is to freeze it. Take special care not to break the fins. Wrapping it in a towel will help in protecting you trophy.
